Pontiac Firebird Formula

This car is a 1978 Firebird Formula. Karen and I purchased this vehicle up in Fargo for "pennies". We are currently in the process of restoring this vehicle. These pictures show what the vehicle looked like before it went to the body shop. It goes to the body shop in about a week (Aug 14th or so) and will be there for about a month. When it comes back, it will have no rust, and will be two colors, black on the top and gold on the bottom. Karen and I plan on doing the interior restoration on our own.
This car has the 400 cubic inch pontiac block, with an edelbrock highrise intake and a holly 4 barrel carb. The power of this wicked motor is funneled through a 4 spd automatic to the rear wheels which have a highway friendly ratio of 2.41. We don't plan on doing much to the engine at the moment.
Below are pictures of it before the paint job, we will post pictures showing the "Aftermath" as soon as we can.
Clicking on the Picture will bring up a new window with the blown-up picture.
